Introduction:
Here, the user will have the provision to change the modifier view (displays horizontal or vertical view) and also provision to keep the modifier in short or elaborated form.
Requirement:
· The system will have the provision to change the modifier view (displays horizontal or vertical view)
· The system will have the provision to view the modifier either in short or elaborated form along with its quantity.
Implementation in BO:
Page Navigation: Log into My Store >> Products/Item >> Modifier
In the Modifier screen, the new text box “Short Form for the Modifer” should be available for the user to enter the Short Form for that Modifier that is to be created further.
By default, the Name of the Modifier will be displayed if the Short Form for the Modifier is not provided.
Example:

Short Form for the Modifier: C
· Character Restriction:
The character restriction must be made for “Short Form of the Modifier” as 10 characters (should not exceed more than 10 characters).
· Prefixes:
The prefix for the modifier will be displayed along with the short form.
Example:
Name: Cheese
Short Form for the Modifier: C
Prefixes with Modifier: Extra C
Prefixes with Modifier along with its Quantity: 2 Extra C

In Kitchen receipt template , the new toggle “Short Form for the Modifier” should be placed here. By default, this “Short Form for the Modifier” toggle will be in disable mode. By enabling this toggle, in Kitchen Label Template and in Kitchen printer Receipts it will automatically gets reflected. When enabled, the short form for the modifier will be displayed in the Kitchen printer Receipt and in Kitchen Label Template.

Note– Within the Kitchen receipt template upon enabling the toggle Short form for the modifier – The following modifier “C” should be shown dynamically in the template as well. The placement should be in Order summary and Item summary.
In Kitchen Receipt Template, another new toggle “Horizontal View for Modifier” will be available. By default, this “Horizontal View for Modifier” toggle will be in disable mode (as-in process). By enabling this option, the user can be able to view the modifers in horizontal view along with the quantity and it can be viewed in Kitchen printer receipts and in Kitchen Label template.
Note: The default format will be available and horizontal view is not available for the modifier.

Quantity for Menu Item and Modifier:
The quantity of the Menu Item and Modifier will be displayed based on Consolidate Menu In Kitchen settings in Kitchen Receipt Template (as-in process).
Note: If Short Form for the Modifier toggle is enabled in Kitchen Printer (settings) and Short Form for the Modifier is not provided then by default, Name of the Modifier will be displayed.

The Short Form for the Modifier and Menu Item should be reflected in the column view (“Short Form for the Modifer”) if user added and enabled the toggle “Short Form for the Modifier”. This should be reflected in the downloaded excel.

· The short form of the modifiers should be included in the Item summary section.
· The quantity should be shown before the respective modifier when the Print quantity before the menu item is enabled in BO.
· If the modifier quantity matches the menu item , the modifiers will be shown horizontally . The right flow should be – Che, Pep, Oni
· If the modifiers quantity is different from the menu item , the modifiers will be shown vertically irrespective of the horizontal toggle.
