Enhancements:
· Auto Update for POS
– Auto update will allow the system to prompt for each new software update automatically
– A Notification for update to latest version can be shown on the lower right side of the POS screen
– How the Update Works:
§ If the user login to the application, the business date will get updated and system will check the POS version.
§ A Software Update available alert will be shown on the user
§ The software update pop-up should have the options Update Later and Update Now
§ If the system is not on the current version, then the user can select to update the POS by selecting Update Now or choose the option of Update Later
§ If user clicks Update Later then the pop-up disappears, and it will appear on the next business date login.
§ If user fails to choose one of the options, the application will continue to show the prompt until the software is updated
PLEASE NOTE: ALL POS TERMINAL WITHIN A BUSINESS SHOULD BE ON THE SAME VERSION
· Refunding a Voided Menu Item with Online Ordering
– Users can now void a menu item in the online order without deleting the payment
– The void amount is automatically deducted from the paid amount
· Delete / Void Menu Item and Not Send to the Kitchen User Role:
– An option for Delete Unordered Item has been added for User Roles in the back-office
– When enabled, the user will not be allowed to delete/void menu item(s) in the POS without the approval of manager pin
· Cancel Button Added in Sync Screen:
– A Close button has been added to the sync with back office screen
Screen Layout:
· Online Order Notification Sound
– The user will be notified of any Online Orders via a notification sound from the POS
· Curbside Notes in POS
– There is now a field to enter Curbside Notes in the Customer Profile Screen
– Curbside Notes that are entered via Online Ordering will now be shown in the customer profile screen
Screen Layout:
· Check Number Column Added to the Phone Order Screen
– There is now a tab on the Phone Order Screen that indicates the check number
· Online Order Status Screen
– A new tab Order Status is now on the Phone Order Tab
– User can view the status of an order:
§ Placed – Order has been placed and sent to the POS
§ Confirmed – The order is confirmed by the Online Order Database
§ Hold – When order has been received by a user on the POS
§ Expired – If an order is not confirmed within 10 minutes it will expire
PLEASE NOTE: IF AN ORDER IS NOT CONFIRMED WITHIN THE 10 MINUTE WINDOW A REFUND WILL BE PERFORMED ON BEHALF OF THE CUSTOMER

– Credit Card Receipts will now reflect the Node (POS Station) number from which the receipt was printer
· Driver Status Screen
– A new tab screen to track the drivers who were departing and arriving has been implemented on the Phone Order Screen
– New sections for the Driver Status Screen Include:
§ Checks – Displays Closed Checks when a Delivery has been completed
§ Drivers On Road – Driver Name, Departure Time, and Check Number will be displayed here
§ Available Drivers – This section shows the last arrival time of a driver and their number of checks
